Backlog games of 2025 - a thread.
The Game Awards was a fine show but nothing that really overlapped with my interests. Good time for Star Wars fans. I hope Square Enix finds a groove back to prominence and good grace like Capcom did.

If Ben Starr had a nickel for every time he lost to a Baldur's Gate 3 voice actor in The Game Awards, he would have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

About to finish Persona 4 (PS2 version). A couple of really frustrating moments with the story and characters, but undoubtedly a game of quality.

Persona 4 has to have one of the most aggressively hidden true endings of all time. I'll have to think on this one because I'm sure there are some games out there that beat it but not many.

See--the problem here is they only played 30 hours. You're supposed to hate Sekiro for 35 - 40 hours until everything "Just clicks™" and then you'll love it until the end of time.

Sometimes I just want to rebel against hyper produced, click bait, rat race YouTube videos. Give me a fourteen year old Final Fantasy VII playthrough with a guy pointing a camera at his tv, a squeaky chair, and a wall AC churning loudly. Just give me something real.

When playing Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I suddenly realized, "I'm only going to have so many more of these in my life." Modern game development is bringing out some existential terror.
This is a fantastic interview in general, but the realness of this particular answer stopped me cold
