I've been bad about posting games I played today.
But I made a cozy insomnia-curing soup with @goosepoopgames.com (Good Soup) then made a pit stop to help a carriage continue on its journey with @darringtonpress.bsky.social (Daggerheart)

Adding to the nest with a photo of my dog (who I miss dearly.)

If anyone knows a better way to nest photos on bsky, I'm all ears.
Am I rushing back to my hotel to avoid the rain? Yes.

Did I also stop to take a photo of a cool spider at a bus shelter?

Also yes. (Spider in the replies so people can hopefully avoid it.)
Found some time in my schedule to sign up for one of the demos. It was a lot of fun.
Also, I just got to pet a sweet baby angel doxie.

Which was obviously the highlight of the weekend.
I love cons. You get to meet new people, try new things, and develop a debilitating sense of fomo.

All while spending way too much money.
This feels like the logical progression of the "men will do X before they go to therapy" joke
Losing love is hard. But keeping and growing love every day? That's the real challenge.
I knew I was traditionally attractive pre-transition because I definitely benefitted from pretty privilege.

After HRT? I also benefit from pretty privilege AND feel attractive as heck.
My therapist and I were talking about someone who asks people if they'd fuck their clone.

My therapist: "I mean, what sort of person would even find themselves attractive enough to fuck?"

Me (internally): *Well, now I can't tell my therapist that I think I've gotten hot(er) since transitioning."
Just finished the inaugural #MadOrc 5K at #GameholeCon

Great way to start the penultimate day of con!

Just got out of a wonderful panel by @creationcast.net

Now to go to run my game!
I almost had another player PvP me in a one shot today.

*Apparently* it's basically a TTRPG war crime to introduce NFTs to a communist anarchist society.
Played a #wotem one shot where I just gaslight the shit out of the BBEG and ended the session without a single punch thrown.

Needless to say, I'm having a fucking blast at #GameholeCon
Above all else, people should remember that I'm just a silly little guy.
Hard rock musician. Just smashing rocks together like castanets.
My brain has just been fried by how many dog whistles I've had to keep up with nowadays. 🙃
Oh my gosh! Someone was telling me about this meta/mega game yesterday. I did not make the connection
Some GMs run their games like a point and click adventure.
As players, what do you think of that?

Do you like puzzles, or do you prefer more open-ended ways to move the story along?
Every time I come to Madison I am in awe of how biker friendly it is.
