Update: The cat wasn't even hungry! I put a serving of wet food in a cat bowl for him. He ate half of it and bounced.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

While I was grilling my lady was using the oven to make some sides. She noticed a gas smell. Called the gas company and there is a small gas leak from the stove. I hooked up a to go plate for the brother from the gas company.

There is a cat in the neighborhood that only comes to my yard when I have the grill going. I look for this cat every day and nothing. Today I got some chicken on the grill and here he is.
