Just a general reminder that some people help their communities but don't post it on the internet for a myriad of reasons so, don't assume they don't care.

A lot of people are doing what they can right now.

Don't let copaganda fool you – police violence is not tied to their safety.

The vast majority of police killings actually start with officers responding to a suspected non-violent situation or a case where no crime has been reported.

Suppressing my urge to scream by returning to this painting of a wooden dragon regrowing a fire-decimated forest.
It feels odd to share something right now, but I'm truly hoping this gives some folks out there a break from the doom. The first piece for my Dusklight Archive project is complete, titled "The Price of Reclamation."

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.

Anyone who thinks that the constant threat of homelessness and starvation is the only effective way to maintain a productive society, truely has no comprehension of the human condition.

I'll say it again, lazy is a myth perpetuated by the Haves to shame the Have Nots into being exploited.

I don't care if she didn't follow directions; I don't care if she was disrespectful; I don't care if she was noncompliant; I don't care if she spit in his face, called him ugly, and smacked his mom - "immediate execution by the state" was not warranted; jfc, this isn't complicated.
losing my mind at the "she should have followed directions" people

really? really? you're cool with "if you don't follow directions, they get to kill you"? that seems like a good state of affairs to you? that seems like how law enforcement ought to work: instant obeisance or death?
