it's grim, but the reality is that Trump wants more innocent people to die here in the Twin Cities and the GOP majorities in both chambers of Congress are either ambivalent about more lives being taken or outright support it

It's ICE and it's pretty tough to survive 5 bullets from point blank range, Washington Post. Be fucking reporters and stop equivocating.
Breaking news: Federal agents shot another person in Minnesota on Saturday morning, Gov. Tim Walz said.

It was not immediately clear which federal agency was involved, and the condition of the victim was unknown. This story is developing.

Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the incident, and Gov. Tim Walz provided few details.

To any ICE agents reading this who are from down south—you have never experienced anything like this cold. Our European climate equivalent is literally Stalingrad. It will hurt to breathe. You will be outside in it. So will we, but we are used to it.

Next week is what will break you.
We've lead charmed weather lives so far in January.
Temperatures are +5F to +10F across MN so far this month. 🌡️
We're about to be reminded what persistent cold and occasional snow feels like. ❄️

The coach taking USC to Alamo Bowls and Las Vegas Bowls, with a Cotton Bowl loss to Tulane mixed in, wanted out of the Notre Dame series for playoff purposes.

I do not believe in using playoff results to evaluate committee decisions but in this particular case it's because Notre Dame was beating either of these squads by 14-28 points and this was very clear at the time AND they had a comparable resume to Alabama
The insistence that these are two serious teams with serious aspirations irks me. These teams suck! They stink! I don't want to watch this!
December 20, 2025 at 4:37 AM
Weird. It's like a team that rushed for negative yards in their last game should have dropped in the playoff rankings.
December 20, 2025 at 2:01 AM
If you rush for negative yards in a game, you aren't one of the twelve best teams in the country.

Notre Dame is averaging 7 points per play.

The SEC bias is keeping Tennessee not just ranked but in the Top 20 so the rest of the conference can claim a ranked win. Their wins are over:

3-7 Syracuse
FCS ETSU
3-7 UAB
5-6 Mississippi State
2-8 Arkansas (by 3 points)
5-5 Kentucky
3-7 New Mexico State

Even the senators who are retiring and think they won't have to face the wrath of furious Democratic voters should know that their last name is about to become so toxic that not even a goddamn nonprofit is going to want you on the board.
I think Senate folders are significantly underestimating how fucking angry Democratic voters are at them

Jeremiyah Love is responsible for somewhere around 3 of the 10 best CFB TD runs I've seen.
OMG... Jeremiyah Love was swarmed but never down, runs it in for TD. Once again, the armed forces struggling on defense
