Flowering weed in the woods = blue stem goldenrod, Solidago caesia (I'm like 90% sure).

The S. altissima we've seen so much of prefers to grow in tall stands in the sun. This was a few inches of plant in the woods by a tree

I’m cool with using LLMs for stuff like “writing regexes” but why would I use them to do things my brain actually likes doing and finds rewarding?
