The problem is, of course, is that a country composed of self-proclaimed rugged individualists tends to suck at collective action. Put 10 Americans in a room and three argue over who’s in charge, five wait for someone to tell them what to do, and the other two figure out how to make money of it.

You can’t tout Donald Trump’s sub-40 approval rating while handwaving Chuck Schumer having a sub-40 approval rating *among Democrats.* No one is excited about him becoming majority leader, so why would voters be motivated to make it happen? Do people really not understand this?

Not only do they want all the money, they also want to control the concept of money. It is not enough to have it all, they want to foreclose the possibility of you having it, no matter how small. It’s simply not sustainable to do this to a freedom loving people.
