Totally agree. This was awesome
What a strange delight this has been. Having told the story of a number of real revolutions in ultra-longform podcast format for ten seasons, Mike Duncan synthesizes the elements and style into a new, fictional revolution.

It’s tremendously good, and worth your time if you like sci-fi and history.

Strange when my tech podcast and F1 podcast worlds collide
For F1 nerds, the interview @spannersready.bsky.social did with Francesco Campello was *excellent*. If you’re into nerdery around F1/racing/aerodynamics, it’s well worth your time.

@spannersready.bsky.social I really liked the “2025 Boardroom expectations” format instead of the usual “pre-season predictions”. A refreshing twist!

Next year, we will also observe this Icelandic tradition on the pod.

Tonight Bjúgnakrækir (Sausage Swiper), the 9th of Iceland's 13 Yule Lads, comes down from the mountains. He hides in the rafters and steals sausages that are hung up there for smoking.

Children leave their shoes out in the window, he gives the good ones a small gift, the bad ones get a potato.

This…is kinda awesome. I think.
Now, THIS is how to disrupt parliament!
Māori MPs briefly suspended the Aotearoa parliament’s attempts to reinterpret their founding treaty in the most bad ass use of the Haka I’ve ever seen.
