This is what it felt like yesterday to clock out for break and open bsky to see a billion slightly different posts explaining “there’s more to transitioning than just hrt”
twitter’s algorithm is just bizarre now. I can go on there and scroll for like ten screens and 90% of the tweets are random people rehashing slightly different aspects of the same argument.

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

On a purely personal basis, the clearest version of the whole thing. Half my family (who live in the outlying New Orleans suburbs) are absolutely thrilled at how much this upsets the family members who live in the city proper.

It's constant topic of conversation, here. School sports have been canceled, stores closed, many students stopped coming to school,food trucks gone, citizens traveling with our passports, grocery shopping for vulnerable neighbors...but most of all, there's a deep seated hatred for these mfers.
