"Terror High" is an R.L. Stine-meets-H.P. Lovecraft survival horror in development inspired by the 90s YA horror craze. Set in the small town of Pike’s Landing, OR in the early 90s, the game follows the interweaving tales of four teenagers brought together by their town’s shocking secrets.
It's a banger of a concept and it's weird to me that we haven't seen a remake or a sequel yet. (BloodRayne and the Blair Witch games notwithstanding.)

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.
