About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

The reason Mike Johnson is able to keep the House closed and not pass bills to pay the military or fund the government is because Trump is going to circumvent congress and illegally steal that money from other government programs. All to avoid releasing the Epstein files.

They lost that war. Completely.

Then they took power, imposed Jim Crow. And never looked back. When they lost Jim Crow they simply took us where we are today.

Diagnosis causes autism. If we stop testing right now, we’d have very few cases, if any.Without testing, or weak testing, we would be showing almost no cases. Testing is a double edged sword. Makes us look bad, but good to have!!

I am struck by how lack of standing seems to so frequently evade court challenge to unconstitutional government actions.

It's an odd thing missing, given that this problem was solved in ancient Athens: for certain matters the entire citizen body ('ho boulomenos,' 'whoever wishes') had standing.
