I was pretty okay with the finale of #Peacemaker but I can understand people who wanted GI Robot or an invasion of Nazis to be thwarted or Keith versus Chris versus two musical numbers. I also kind of wanted to see them working to liberate all the slaves on Earth-X over the damn boat. #DCU

I heard this as a reason for changing as much as they did.

But not everyone had read the books, and all those new to the story would be absolutely hooked if they had just kept to the story.

These series are a gateway, not just an adaptation for fans.
