Nature loving crone lesbian living in Oregon. Not a fan of liars or fakers. Politically moderate.
Controversial or not, none of my pals watched the halftime show. We all had dogs to tend to and needed a break anyway. I asked everyone if they listened to Bad Bunny, one said she had heard a few of his songs and none of the rest had ever heard of him. But we all liked Brandi Carlyle!

You can really see why Bill thought he could get away with being a perv. Everybody seemed to be involved in it.

Didn't somebody on the far right try to buy up their own books to make it look more popular? Can't recall who.
Just like MAGA buying Melania tickets in bulk to try and make it look like it isn’t a flop.

These are very much real terrorists.
Anti-choice extremists in Indiana are trying to force the release of records for the very few legal abortions in the state (146 in 2024). The purpose is to intimidate patients and providers and expose them to harassment, arrests, and violence.
Anti-Abortion Groups Try a New Intimidation Tactic: Make Abortion Records Public
Abortion rights opponents want Indiana to use reporting rules to expose abortion providers and recipients to targeting.

Though the commerce secretary has called his interactions with Epstein as "limited," the two were in business together four years after Epstein's 2008 guilty plea.

ICE is quickly raising alarms here in the USA for violating our freedoms, ignoring 1st Amendment and other rights, warrantless searches and arrests, etc. They badly overstepped, and they better shape up quick.

Bad Bunny is a choice marketers made to make the Superbowl more appealing globally. They hope to expand the appeal of gridiron football. The current audience for the Superbowl is mostly North America, and most of us don't listen to him, so will tune out the halftime show.

Says he made a mistake, had it removed, and then denies he made a mistake. Maybe that's the whole problem: Trump has no idea what a mistake is.
NEW STORY: Trump admits he was the one who found the video and asked that it be posted from his Truth Social account. Refuses to apologize.

I live in liberal Portland, OR, and my sister lives in conservative Houston, TX. Watching news and ads on ICE in both places is a study in contrast. We are fed whatever the media wants us to believe, probably much more than we even realize.

If they were serious about climate change discovery, why would they need to be secret? That implies they were only ever up to no good. Science that we consider credible is always transparant, peer reviewed, reproducible for verification, etc.

Bluesky is chock full of people who believe in trans ideology, which is no different than any other absurd cult in that they believe unprovable nonsense and then ardently defend their beliefs by calling every non-believer a Nazi, a right winger, etc. Of course, name calling proves nothing.

Pretty sure the ultra rich think all people except for themselves are disposable - and always have. But this is taken to horrific extremes where the organized rape of girls is concerned. Anyone who can be proved to have done so deserves a long jail sentence.
The CHILDREN?

"There was very much a class aspect to this.

A lot of the YOUNG GIRLS came from broken homes and poor backgrounds.

Some of them had been abused in their own families.

CHILDREN WERE VIEWED, BASICALLY, AS OBJECTS … THEY WERE VIEWED AS DISPOSABLE CHILDREN."

AUCTIONABLE CHILDREN!!

We experienced a similar loss of quality when the NYT sold out to the likes of another billionaire. Newspapers we used to revere have been sinking like the Titanic. Universities have suffered a quality loss too - this does not bode well for Americans.
