In like 2007 I was sitting in a mall TGIF (are they all in malls?) with the Fall Out Boy CD I got from FYE and I giggled about “Champagne for my Real Friends Real Pain for my Sham Friends” and my friend’s mom told me it wasn’t funny because it was too violent.

I have a friend who keeps sending me horses from the webcomics he reads and I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to get random unsolicited pictures from a man.

A few years ago I made the joke that I’d “rather die than be a burden” and last night I learned people with my condition have a lower life expectancy because of suicide so I guess I’m not the only one.

It's being marketed as a quick time-saver, but it's messy, inaccurate, it is putting entire industries of people out of work, and the environmental impacts (energy and water usage) are huge and debilitating.

I recently reposted a former congressional staffer who said that when an issue got 20-30 calls it would get representatives freaked out and ready to do something. It takes less than you’d think, because so few people actually take that kind of action
