man i wish AO3 had a way to designate, outside of ship tags, whether a character was the focal character of a fic. lol even after excluding SIX different ship tags from this filtered search on a character tag, she is a side character in nearly every fic so far. SIGH.

My hottest take is that there are zero - ZERO - interesting or meaningful conversations to be had about genre, at all, ever, in any way, because at baseline the entire concept of genre is intended to gatekeep what literature is and who can write it
