looks like the airline is unwilling to take my complaint through the web form, I can't sleep, and I'm cranky. So I sleuthed up their customer relations e-mail and sent them a nice and polite missive:

I understand from the disclaimer on the form on the website that it is no use to enter a claim for compensation because the cancellation was caused by the weather, and thus unavoidable. Even so, I'd like to bring to your attention the following: we checked in at the airport due to an internet issue: this cost us 402 PLN. We had a place at an airport parking reserved for the week: 150 PLN, we had a non refundable hotel in Nice for the night we were supposed to arrive: 200 PLN, and, because the new flight on Tuesday is departing at 5:35 in the morning we've had to arrange transport for another 150 PLN. That's 1000 zloty gone up in thin air, which is a big disappointment. It would be nice, and in my view fitting if you could see fit to offer us some recompense, for example in the form of credit on our Wizz account.
However, much more than the financial aspect I remain quite unhappy with the lack of support provided to us and the hundreds of other stranded travelers, I hope my note can inspire you to have better protocols in place in case of future incidents.
I'm hoping for an equitable resolution in this matter.

If 'just doing your job' involves arresting and jailing infirm, elderly people of conscience for holding up a sign which condemns genocide, your job isn't really a job, it's a crime, and you've been recruited because you're a thug who is not capable of drawing that distinction.
