1/3 👋🏽 Hi, Bluesky! We’re Cultiv8, a renewable energy startup that creates hemp-derived fuel solutions like sustainable aviation fuel (#SAF), renewable natural gas (#RNG), and renewable diesel. We’re on a mission to power a greener, cleaner future. 🌱
Renewable fuels from hemp biomass can integrate seamlessly into existing pipelines, making the transition to clean energy easier than ever. It can also be blended with traditional fuels (or not!). #EnergySky #Renewables

Hemp-based renewable energy isn’t just sustainable—it’s scalable. With abundant feedstock, it can meet growing energy demands without depleting resources. Capable of year round growth, on marginal land, hemp doesn’t need to compete with our food supply like other biomass crops. #EnergySky

1/3 Hemp regenerates the soil it grows in, removing toxins and improving fertility in a process called phytoremediation —making it a sustainable crop for a healthier planet. 🌱

Did you know? Hemp fibers are stronger than steel when it comes to tensile strength, making them ideal for construction materials.

That’s why we turn our “waste” into additional hemp-derived products – like bricks! #sustainability #GreenSky #EnergySky

Did you know? If every U.S. farm dedicated just 5% of their acreage to hemp, it could offset the carbon emissions of 1 million cars per year. (Before we can even make it into fuel!) 1/2

1/4 🌱 Let’s Talk About Farmers!

At Cultiv8, we believe agriculture the foundation of sustainable progress. That’s why our farmer-first philosophy guides everything we do. Farmers are our partners, our allies, and the heroes of this hemp-fueled revolution.

We love having a space to chat not only about our fuels & our company, but about all the ways #hemp is GOOD for the EARTH! With more than 50,000 use cases, the possibilities are endless. Let us know what you want to know about our favorite #EnergyCrop!

Hemp cultivation uses less water than traditional crops like cotton or corn, & requires no synthetic pesticides or herbicides. Its efficiency conserves vital resources while improving soil health, making it a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative for modern agriculture. #Sustainability #EnergySky

Yes, of course! Hemps grow cycle is its super power: 90 days seed-to-harvest and regenerates the soil in the process making it a wonderful rotational crop for farmers.
Very cool. Assuming it also grows faster than an acre of trees (which can take years to mature).

Did you know? The #renewableenergy industry creates nearly three times as many jobs per dollar invested as the fossil fuel sector. #EnergySky #GreenEconomy

Shifting to renewable energy sources could prevent up to 4.6 million premature deaths annually by reducing air pollution. #Sustainability is a matter of survival. #EnergySky #Renewables

Yes! We utilize the waste from our fuel production process – biochar and hemp hurd — to make additional hemp derived products.
Hemp can absorb ~12 tonnes of CO2 per hectare. Forests capture ~4 tonnes only depending on the type of trees, region, etc.

But a lesser-known carbon sequestration potential of hemp is biochar.

Biochar sells at a premium and some have recently sold for over $500 per ton of CO2 sequestered.

Did you know? One acre of #hemp absorbs more carbon dioxide than an acre of trees, making it a powerful tool for combating climate change. Hemp is the ultimate #energy crop! #EnergySky #renewables

Yes, if scientists can stop us from emitting 40+ billion tonnes of CO₂ every year.

No amount of CO₂ removal, solar radiation modification, or synthetic fuels will help unless we stop burning fossil fuels.
Panorama - Can Scientists Save the World?
Richard Bilton meets the scientists trying to save the world from the consequences of climate change and investigates whether they can really make a difference.

Inflation Reduction Act repeal would deeply damage the US economy, costing us $50 billion in exports + handing $66 billion in investments to other nations like China.

No wonder America's biggest companies + Republican politicians are pushing back. Me on @forbes.com
