It’s important to note from a military perspective that if a subordinate is about to give an unlawful order & his senior knows about it, it’s also a requirement for the senior official to stop him from executing it. And then counsel/discipline him.

So there’s that, too.

Hey, nice well-functioning system you've got there. What if we were to.... completely ruin it by injecting A.I. into it for no reason? Would that be something you might be interested in?

A.I. is just another dotcom bubble POS waiting to trash our economy. Don't get sucked in. It's everywhere, and it is maddening if you have to tell every damn website, "NO." But it's making us dumber and more broke. Artists are being hurt by it. Fads on the Internet come and go very fast.
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."
Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?
