If you're talking about recommending something *in general* I've never seen anyone *besides* the CDC recommend that after lab testing & the works.
Hopefully my tone isn't coming across as mean, but I'm up to date on every bit of information I can find to protect my family.

I just said I didn't recommend it 😭 if you have no data on it being worse, how can you say it's bad to recommend? Everyone needs to do their own research from trusted sources and ask people who have first hand experience.

very iffy thanks to the current RFK nonsense. These guidelines & the CDC article were from 2021 and I've been doing it since.
Again, haven't gotten COVID and my fiancée is immunocompromised so I'm always cautious, perhaps overly cautious to protect her.

I've seen accounts I follow and mutuals back on twitter recount how they've gotten COVID even after using only an N95 wherever they go.

Before replying, I double checked the CDC pages I've seen to make sure I wasn't talking out of my ass.

Granted, *current* information coming from the CDC feels-

Idk if wearing 2 masks is on the same level as someone who is ignorant to the fact that you can get covid even in non-crowded spaces-- so they forego the mask entirely. It works for me, I make sure it's flush against my face. Plus, I was following CDC guidelines when I started doing that.
