According to reporting, the Trump regime signed off on this guy staying in the country back in March.
Suspect he was given an ultimatum then about his kids being allowed to stay in the country on the condition that when they gave him an assignment, he would carry it out, NO MATTER WHAT. He did.

There is a reason why Witkoff did not want any officials with the State Dept or anyone else present during his many meetings w/Putin - he didn’t want witnesses to his treasonous behavior. Highly unusual, but makes perfect sense when you consider that he only cared about Russia.

One could argue a cold civil war. R’s have been systematically sabotaging the country while profiting immensely from it. Those who met with Putin in Moscow on July 4th spearheaded it.
The fact that only 3 (by my count) Republican members of Congress have spoken out about the Witkoff situation shows how thoroughly corrupted and compromised the entire party has become from top to bottom. None of this is about just Trump - it is the entire political party.
