After doing a walk of the High Line on Friday and two pretty full days at NYCC, we went to a hockey game. My brother’s always been a huge Rangers fan and I respected his willingness to pay for it. I definitely enjoy hockey more in person than on TV.

Okay, I have showered, put away two weeks of laundry, packed my clothes and most toiletries. I still need to empty my dishwasher, clean, and eat something maybe? And pack more stuff and clean my car some more. I also hoped to work more on the assessment before leaving but it is what it is tbh.

I still need to basically do another assessment today and I need to pack and clean my house a bit because I’m literally planning to leave for NYCC in the next like 2 hours. I’ll be bringing my work with me, I guess. 😅

It was such a Week that culminated in yesterday being A Day that I didn’t eat solid food yesterday until 9 pm. Thank God I had a protein shake on me.

I’ve turned around edits on 4 assessments this week and spent 20+ hours with clients or their parents. 🙃

I’ve had a car organizer in my cart on Amazon for a couple weeks. It was $8.99 last I checked, though I think it was less when I added it- $6-$8. I don’t have Prime and the price is now $10.65. If I did have Prime, the price would be $6.71.

In Pennsylvania there are state Supreme Court judges on the ballot. All Democrats. The current balance is 5-2 so if they aren’t retained, there’s a risk Democrats could lose the court. Shapiro and that court are currently keeping a purple state safe.

I couldn’t get a job in publishing after college, which was a blessing - those wages and constant cuts? Oof. Ended up working with autistic & neurodivergent kids. There’s job security…if our families can keep their insurance, which pays us. 🙃
