Moe is paying Masters over $14,000.00 a month.

Spending taxpayer dollars isn't anything new to this couple.

Letters: Masters's, Moe's trip to Dubai for COP28 wastes tax dollars
'The mayor would look better in the public eye if she cancelled the trip and sent the funds to food banks instead,' writes Sydney Monaghan.

Have to wonder if this arrangement was hatched at the climate conference in Dubai?

Premier hires a new staff member who was fired by her previous employers. Perhaps, her first communications assignment should be to try and justify a $14,221.00 monthly salary?
According to an Order in Council former Regina mayor Sandra Masters has been hired by Premier Scott Moe's office as a deputy chief of staff for communications.

She'll have a salary of $14,221 a month. (That's significantly more than she ever made as mayor)

The Saskatchewan Party government won't hold an open public inquiry. They won't even look into it.

Everything they do is corrupted by some scam or other.

Lol, so it sure sounds like the Conservatives had a plan to avoid an election but blame it on the app.

Only *after* it was clear there were sufficient abstentions to pass the budget, Scheer and Reid scurried to their seats to vote no.

They can’t have been far! The doors lock when a vote starts 🤪
“Conservative House leader Andrew Scheer and the party's caucus chair, Scott Reid, flew in at the last minute, saying they couldn't vote on the app and wanted to record their “nay” votes in person.

That's a bit unusual.”

Yes. They look away through lack of oversight and enforcement. Alberta requires pre approval of farmland sales. Sask does “random” audits after fact.

I feel like I’ve been shouting into the void. It’s a real issue. Axing the tax has not made life more affordable in any way. It’s just stripped more money from those who need it.

The inability of the @saskparty.bsky.social to manage the crisis in healthcare is now putting an 8-year-old in a potentially life-threatening position.

I am releasing this in hopes that the Ministry of Health and @premierscottmoe.bsky.social reach out to this family immediately with solutions.

Dear political scientists teaching American politics this semester: How do you address the separation of powers, rule of law, norms, and the role of Congress (power of the purse and oversight over the executive branch)? Or do you just teach it as history?

Two big questions:

1. How long until they completely “Devine” the province

2. Where is the money actually going

The province had predicted a $12M surplus this year. Now, it looks like a $349M sinkhole.
Saskatchewan’s books have taken a financial hit, with a projected $12-million surplus now forecasted to become a $349-million deficit.
