I miss these days of TV ... when characters looked like real people. Not every person was a model. Just real people with real stories. Now almost every actor needs a 6 pack or boobs. It was more believable and down to earth.
Telly Savalas, seen here on location in New York with co-stars Dan Frazer, Kevin Dobson and George Savalas in a production still for the CBS 🇺🇸American action crime drama television series “KOJAK” (1973 - 1978)

At 90, she learned she was the inspiration for "Rosie the Riveter," a cultural icon symbolizing the millions of American women who worked in factories & shipyards during #WWII.

I don't care if world leaders are on the list. If titans of industry or my favourite celebrities are on the list. If they abused and trafficked children then they need to be brought low to the fullest extent of the law. Release The Epstein Files.

So I'm a loooong time Trek fan. There's things I've loved and things I've been 'meh' about. I've watched the first 2 eps of #StarfleetAcademy and it's a ton of fun. Is it slightly goofy and different? Yup. But at it's core it's Trek and I'm enjoying it. Naysayers can suck it.

Spent some of last night and most of today just vegging on the couch watching the first 2 seasons of The Mayfair Witches. Not as good as Interview With The Vampire but a fun diversion that I didn't dislike. I'm looking forward to more.

To describe the current state of the world as a daily show of deepening horrors is a massive understatement.

However, I read something today that I think more people should see and read.

I hope she doesn't mind my me sharing it here.

San Diego Comic Con allowing A.I. Bullshit slop in it's seems to betray the whole idea of creativity and artistry that it's supposed to celebrate. Truly a terrible decision. Are they giving Greg Land a lifetime achievement award for tracing porn or Liefeld the 'Best Anatomy Award' next?

This week's X-Men, firing on all cylinders again (Not that I doubted)! Some great character work (LOVE Kurt/Mackenzie becoming a thing!), more on Mutina & that splash with Kurt and his swords made me grin like no other! @gailsimone.bsky.social @davidmarquez.bsky.social & the whole team are awesome!
