Gift from my hubby!
I'm 65,000 words into my novel! Taking a little break from screenwriting to novel write. It’s enriching. :)

I thought I still had the whole set! I still have the plate and the yellow mug! I think I got it mid 90s (it was a gift) I just realised the bowl is missing. Someone in my family must have broken it and not told me! Haha! Now to investigate who the culprit is! Thanks for the reminder.

@adamlavis.bsky.social I have the same Big Breakfast plate that’s in your header image! Had it since the 90s!😊

Got some reading lined up. I always like to read the script before I see it on screen. So I can compare my imagination of the scene to how the director translates it to screen. Or how the cut impacts the mood. No, it doesn't ruin the film for me. It enhances my experience.

The story of Elianna Andam haunts me too. I used to live in Croydon and my daughters would travel to their school in Sutton sometimes by bus via Wellesley Rd where I believe this happened.

I am currently almost too sparse with writing the characters thoughts. My first draft is mainly action and dialogue as I lay out the narrative backbone, but I’m looking forward to rewriting and working on that 😊

Taking a break from screenwriting to work on a novel. So far so good. Writing prose feels more liberating than writing for screen. #amwriting #novelwriting

There's something about bluesky and I can't quite put my finger on it. It feels cozy over here... I think like… in a jacuzzi😁 Lately the bird place felt like I was a tiny being bobbing around far away from everyone in a massive cold ocean… I wonder how long this cozy feeling will last 🤔

Anyone else feeling stretched over social media? Do I repeat here with my posts? Wondering which is the one to maintain🤔

Great to see you here! Haha I was thinking the same thing, it's tiring all this moving around!😀

Safari in Kenya is awesome! I spent my childhood there before moving to the UK. I highly recommend a trip there 😊

No, unfortunately not and I don’t know who took it either to credit them. There are quite a few pictures floating around the net with various wild life with Kilimanjaro in the background taken from this particular area - looks like the Ambosel national park in Kenya.

Yes that unsettled feeling… btw I'm missing the pubs! I've been searching around for British pubs in the Bay Area, but just not the same “down at the local”…
