Huge congrats to Five Acres High School, Dene Magna Secondary School and Primrose Hill C of E Primary Academy—top quartile nationally for supporting disadvantaged pupils.

Bridget Phillipson MP and I have written to congratulate them and help share best practice so more children benefit.

Yes it’s Valentine’s Day. But it’s also the chosen birthday of Frederick Douglass who was born in 1818 on a plantation in Talbot County, Maryland. He escaped from slavery & rose to become the most eloquent and forceful voice for the abolition of slavery & for Black voting rights in the U.S.

Two immigrants top relevant Sunday Times list for most UK tax paid, as "patriot" multi-billionaire Ratcliffe lives as an immigrant in Monaco, to protect wealth so vast it is unspendable, while whining about immigrant UK care workers and NHS cleaners not pulling their weight.

FUCK RIGHT OFF, "SIR".
Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah among Britain's biggest taxpayers on Sunday Times list
Erling Haaland was Britain's highest taxed footballer last year, paying nearly £17 million to the Treasury.

Fuck Ratcliffe and Ineos.

These are outrageous and inflammatory remarks from an out of touch multi millionaire businessman who clearly has no empathy with hard-pressed families.

To seek to stigmatise immigrants and welfare claimants in this way is shameful.

Spurs' great captain, Danny Blanchflower, born 100 yrs ago today. Tonight, against Newcastle, we'd do well to recall his words: "The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom". #COYS

Martin Jol, a good man and a good manager, was outrageously sacked at half-time.

I’d have no complaint whatsoever if the same happened to Frank

When he was a Tory politician (you remember, just after he was binned as a Labour one) female colleagues were free to express their disgust at his blatant misogyny. “Lee is an odious sexist,” was Anna Soubry’s irrefutable conclusion. I wonder what his current colleagues will have to say…
Jeremy Kyle is interviewing Reform MPs at a live press conference

Discussing who might take over from Keir Starmer as PM, Kyle just said: "She's had a makeover, Angela"

Lee Anderson: "She's throwing her money away, isn't she, to be honest with you"
