That being said, I did release my eighth episode of my podcast on late diagnosis neurodivergence. It's free all winter because I think we could all use a break on things costing us. Here are the two most recent episodes: mildmanneredreporter.substack.com/p/episode-7-...

Another snow day. I don't think I've spoken to a living soul not over text message for the third straight day. Just a lot of doom scrolling and not a lot of reading like I planned.

Who you are only matters because of what it makes you do, after @jasonkpargin.bsky.social . Penultimate monologue on harsh truths for neurodivergents. In which I talk about how intentions and efforts don't matter unless it impacts those around you in the way of who you are.

Is it asking too much for the public to vote on whether we bail out Open AI, Anthropic, and Nvidia because I feel like the AI bubble will burst before there's AGI and all these companies get bought at a discount by Microsoft, Google, and Apple.

And yet, not that I'm anyone or an arbiter of taste, I don't know a single person who has seen any of these movies. Is it just something elder millenials are not into?

I have to ask but has anyone born in the 1980s actually seen those AVATAR movies? I feel like my generation just skipped them. I can count like fifty or so of friends and acquintances all born between 1978-1985 who have not seen any of them. Including me.

Honestly the only reason I login to Twitter is to troll my KKK Member (sorry, White Christian Nationalists) state government people. Which I think is the whole point of Twitter for the past, I don't know, 10 years.

Absolutely warranted. It was my favorite movie of the year. The fact that more people are nominating One Battle After Another over this movie shows that people don't know how important editing is in a movie. (Any movie around 3 hours isn't a movie, it's a TV miniseries.)

This is what always confused me: anyone from New York should be rooting for the Buffalo Bills, because the Jets and the Giants aren't even in New York state. They're in New Jersey. Any self-respecting New Yorker can't stand New Jersey.
Why are NYC viewers forced to watch another miserable Jets game on Channel 2, while Josh Allen is leading the Bills (the only true NY team!) to a possible comeback win against the Partriots?

Turned on the DARK KNIGHT RISES after the Bills going down 21-0 and pleasantly surprised to see Glen Powell and Juno Temple in the movie. I use the term "movie" lightly. Because pretty much every line of dialogue explains the images captured in the film. It's a radio play; not a movie.
