This fucking prick has spent years giving in to the most hateful people and denying that’s what he’s doing but suddenly he’s shocked and furious that the vile rhetoric he’s been enabling at every step actually affects people he knows. Fuck off Keir.
Irks me when he says this because I’ve been at an LGBT event he’s been at, I’ve seen him attend others; he is in no way unaware of this being a problem nor his own role in it

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

Tried so hard to consolidate my pensions today and the furthest I got was a call from an AI robot who asked me stupid questions then told me its 250 quid to try.

I love the "but they'll leave" argument.
Cool, so just to be clear you are actually admitting we're held hostage by the ultra wealthy who can and do drive policy? You also admit that asking them to pay higher tax, what could be seen as patriotic investment, turns them off?
Interesting :)
Do you know what? Let the billionaires leave the UK. They contribute fuck all anyway.

The pro labour voices really need to pack it the fuck in now. I dont listen to you for the same reasons I don't listen to the pro tory and pro reform voices. Because your party is a shithole with bad political ideas who will only cause us harm. Bog off.

I do try not to get too alarmist but I do have an increasing concern about the possibility of a major collapse in institutional legitimacy (government, courts, media) arising from what is a pretty undeniable shift on their part to the far right positions on most social issues

MAGA voices spent years saying Russia Russia Russia only to now have Witkoff outed as a Russian asset so, yes guys, Russia Russia Russia is running running running your government.
👺 Yuri Ushakov, an aide to Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, has said he does not know how the media obtained details of his phone conversations with Steve Witkoff, US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy.

I remember when on my first day of school mum said "don't be annoying everyone with your big words" and that was honestly the best way to handle your nervous weird child starting high school.
Mary Walker, 9, who has always displayed autistic traits, was miraculously fixed by her parents insisting that she stop it at once.

"not a police force" but you want to be the government that runs it?

Like, it just, I dont get how people could ever think these fucking idiots are fit to run the country.
Your desperation to vote in people aligned with you on racial pastiches is making us vulnerable.

It'll never stop making me laugh that the same people who boil the importance of free speech down to "I can say whatever I want" are also some of the most litigious, sue happy wimps around. Rowling is a prime example. So is Farage.

Free speech- except don't say mean things about ME!

If they’re only refusing to give puberty blockers to trans kids when they’ll happily give them to cis kids that’s ideological. The gmc and other regulatory medical bodies are pathetic for going along with this and aiding in it.
Even Hilary Cass - who disgracefully called parents terrified that their trans kids would take their own lives if they were denied healthcare "shroud wavers" - didn't go so far as to call for a ban on puberty blockers.

Nothing Wes Streeting says turns out to be true.

This is the craziest thing.

We’re living in an age of denialism where these people pretend their racism is patriotism, their transphobia is defence of women, their their homophobia is “protecting family values” - and they either believe it - or they don’t and they expect us to play their game.
Over 50% of people by a large margin think sticking flags up is racism. But people will still do it.
Why do people think England flags have been raised on lampposts?
