Ah yes. TFW your #TRONAres soundtrack copies finally show up after a hectic Monday. Been having a large swath of tracks from the soundtrack show up on my "On Repeat" on Spotify since it launched last month, so to hold the wax and disc of it? Like Sark would say... "Nice".

It's insane, 'cuz like, the next major MTG set that's getting tie-in novels of any kind is Secrets of Strixhaven next year, but if it's only for the one set, how the heck is that going to keep relevant? I love the game, but the breakneck speed we go through sets these days is tiring~ 😭✨

You know sometimes you wake up and remember you're an artist and you have stuff to do still sitting there? That's been me since August. Don't worry, I'm definitely working on some new artsy stuff on the pipeline, but I'm also between comms and some outstanding stuff. Slowly but surely!! 🎨✨

Ditto!! See, on remixes, I've had a theory Ares could be getting a remix album sometime since Paul Oakenfold mentioned visiting Disney a few months before NIN were confirmed as composers. Potential Ares Reconfigured could be a thing, but it's also a touch too early to say. Fingers crossed though! 🤞

See, I wish it was like Legacy's where they had bonus tracks among vinyl/digital releases, then it woulda justified getting certain versions, but alas. Also, who's to say Mondo doesn't turn around and make a fancier version later like they did with Legacy? It's like, momentary satisfaction~ 😩

The thing I kept telling myself with the Mr. Beast ad was this: "he's not in the movie, he's not in the movie, good lord, he's not in the movie". Not to say Leto isn't, he's the bloody lead character, but at least one of these is a publicity stunt and can be left as such~ 😭

I think the most recent one with the blue/purple Lightcycles was a nice touch, but the one with Mr. Beast... kind of raised my brow a bit? That spot had me think Disney went into a "how do you do, fellow kids" moment in marketing this, but I mean, when hasn't the Mouse House done this with TRON? 😆

I saw that one in a few places, Amazon for example! I debated on the white version for a bit 'cuz the cover actually looked really nice with white, but inverse black/red won the deal when I saw UMusic selling the NIN Store variants in Canada. Plus, swirls look nice when spinning LPs, heh! 👏

I have a copy of the vinyl inbound soon in addition to the CD, albeit, it's the NIN Store variants, so inverse red/black colours and swirl vinyl. If Disney's only gonna release small handfuls of Ares merch, then by all means, better to scope it out when it shows its face~ 😌

It is kinda odd the sheer lack of merch right now, weirder's the cross-promo that Ares has ATM: here in Canada, the brand names that are promoting the film are things like... Pogo and Orville Redenbacher. I don't think hot dogs and popcorn when I think of TRON, personally speaking~ 😆

(Real talk, if I had my way, we'd have "TRON Ascension" and Kosinski would be doing it. But yet it feels like the bones of Ascension's concept was brought into Ares. It keeps me cautiously optimistic, even with the flip of director and of plot to accommodate the anti-hero. Again, fingers crossed~)

I'm so frickin' normal about a new TRON film coming out in about two weeks. The fresh out Nine Inch Nails soundtrack has been utter fuel to the fire.

Crossing every appendage in the hope Ares is at least good, like, if it's received like Legacy? I'd be content given the mixture here~ 😭✨🙏 #TRONAres

Saw #TheLongWalk today and... holy cow, what a incredibly visceral film. There's very seldom a work I come out feeling like my heart got ripped out. This is in fact, one of them. In a term I coin as "grace under pressure under decay", Lawrence's take on King's material hits like a truck. 100%. 🏃

Had a second watch of #TheNakedGun last night with my family (first time for them) and I'm still impressed by how Akiva Schaffer just understood this assignment. Really, this is how remakes/legacy sequels SHOULD be approached, with respect to its source and a want to do something fresh~ 💥✨
