I find it very frustrating that there isn’t a single voice in public life willing to articulate the correct answer: mass amnesty and citizenship followed by whatever reforms in the border and lawful entry that can be agreed upon

Are any democrats prepared for the next stage of all of this which is to offer an alternative to “humane mass deportation” - which isn’t a thing? It’s tjme to start building support not only for abolishing ice and reforming DHS but also for paths to citizenship and reworking the entire system!

I've harped on congressional war powers for a long time and we do need to fix all that, but threatening to invade Greenland while ranting at Norway about the Nobel Peace Prize and imposing trade sanctions on NATO is more the kind of thing you can only fix by not having a literally insane president.
