Whether it's Democrats wanting the federal government to release the names of people who raped children with Jeffrey Epstein or Republicans wanting state governments to release the names of people who voted Democrat in 2024, both sides are seeking names for retribution.

That’s interesting. Why is this different than an injury?

The Vikings took an ambitious swing when they hired Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, one of the NFL's least experienced GM hires in a long time. I think that's the lens to view his tenure, his firing and all the (oft-denied) rumors of discord in between. Analysis:

What led the Vikings to fire GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah?
Minnesota took a big swing by making the inexperienced Adofo-Mensah its GM -- and missed.

In theater. So they think they’re at war.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

I continue to believe that the fastest way to get Stephen Miller fired is to convince Trump that Miller's ICE operations are what cost him the Nobel Peace Prize.

Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

Kristi Noem and Kash Patel are right: Alex Pretti had no right to possess a gun during a protest. What if he had killed someone?

I interviewed over half a dozen ICE and Border Patrol agents who describe an agency that sounds like Reno 911!

“I thought federal agents were supposed to be clean cut but some of them pass around a flask as we are watching a suspect,” one told me:

The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember:

- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE

It’s just more of the same with this team. I still think they really need another point guard. Just need someone to settle them down when things go sideways.
