This is so intensely awful. Santos is Australia's ExxonMobil - one of the meanest, most aggressive and bloody-minded fossil fuel companies in the country. They're obsessed with suing their critics into the ground, and they're winning.

Victoria’s First Peoples’ Assembly wants decision-making powers over how the state’s Indigenous history is taught in schools but says a treaty will not outline specific changes to the curriculum.
The assembly – the state’s democratically elected Indigenous body – will begin nation-first treaty talks with the Allan government in the coming days. A state-wide treaty – the first of its kind in Australia – will tackle problems affecting First Nations Victorians.

Developing countries publicly doubled down today on their call for trillions in climate aid from richer nations — but privately, some acknowledged that a smaller proposal European Union governments are discussing might be the best they will get for now.
‘Underwhelming’: Poor countries push for way more climate funding than the EU is floating
