We’ve collectively forgotten more Trump scandals in the past eight years than we remember. It’s like Lucy in the candy factory; no matter how hard we try to keep up, they came too fast.
two women are working in a kitchen with a sign above them that says kitchen
Alt: Lucy and Ethel are frantically trying to keep up with boxing the candies on a conveyor belt but they are coming too fast so they start eating them.

You walk into this bar and show your ICE mugshot, you don't pay a dime.
Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.

Notice it’s not “You shouldn’t execute people on the street” but “doing . . the president a great disservice” that he talks about.
Sen. Thom Tillis on Noem and Stephen Miller: "They're doing the American people and the president a great disservice by not realizing how much attention is focused on these operations and how details and discipline matters. They spoke before they knew anything about what occurred on the ground."

Wow, the White House is so shaken by the turn in the public mood that they thought Chuck Schumer might actually rise up and "seize this moment" to get meaningful concessions.

That's how panicked they are. They thought Chuck Schumer would do something.
“An administration official gave away the game to Punchbowl News, admitting that these “de-escalatory measures” are about placating Senate Democrats so they don’t seize this moment to demand restrictions on ICE as part of any government funding package.”

Donald Trump Is Frightened
Trump wants to appear eager to minimize out-of-control clashes between government militias and protesters. But he doesn’t want to stop the things causing those clashes in the first place.

Legacy always regurgitated Trump’s pivot to becoming more presidential. Every time.

Basically if he doesn’t sound like a feral swamp goblin they think he’s magically pivoted.

It’s bullshit.

Every time.

New in PN: 'Abolish ICE' is imperative

"There's no amount of training that can instill basic humanity in thugs who willingly mistreat women, children, and old men. ICE agents reportedly dined at a Mexican restaurant in MN before arresting employees. How will 'training' fix that level of depravity?"
'Abolish ICE' is imperative
It's also better politics than you might think.

Want an update on MN today?
- ICE lurked near schools; called in fake reports to responders
- They staked out food banks to intimidate clients and follow cars trying to make deliveries
- They harassed an observer NOT doing observation at the time; was getting son’s wheelchair out of the car.

I am fucking over it!
We in MN are holding our state together through sheer grit. Where is the national Dem leadership?! I don’t want to hear ANYTHING else until you have drawn a line in the sand about ICE. Not a strongly worded letter; I’m talking come to Jesus or go to hell support for us. You1/2

Ford, meet Target.
Target, tell Ford how you got here.
Ford has caved to MAGA pressure and suspended TJ Sabula, the auto worker who called Trump a “pedophile protector” to his face today.

“I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often — and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity,” Sabula said.

Today’s been a hard one.

Our school district has its head in the sand. They aren’t canceling and there are no new safety protocols. And ICE took two people a block away from a HS.
Spent the day with other vols going from school to school to watch for ICE. All while my phone is blowing up with raid alerts.
We are not ok.
School districts and day care centers across the Twin Cities are closing tomorrow because of fear of ICE and intimidation.

Hear me loud and clear ICE: Stay the hell AWAY from our schools.

This is leadership 🫶🏻
This afternoon, retired Army general Stanley McChrystal spoke at the retirement ceremony hosted by HRC for six trans service members who were forced out under Trump’s ban.

“I shouldn’t have to be thanked for being here. First off, we shouldn’t be here. This shouldn’t be happening.”

I’m getting really fucking tired of this admin causing Minnesotans to be murdered.
Official DHS account is bullshit 🤬Nothing more than untrained thugs acting out fantasies of war glory they could never achieve on a real battlefield.
This is on every fucking GOP member of Congress.
I’m so sick.
Absolutely horrific details about an ICE shooting in Minneapolis.

A witness says a woman was trying to drive away from an ICE operation and the ICE agent "reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times."

Bovino was there.

This is part of the conclusion of Gary Roberts’ report commissioned by the Methodist church to determine their complicity in the Sand Creek massacre. While the similarities between then and now are fearfully striking, this in particular stood out.
