Considering I catch a lot of AI use by students accidentally citing they use AI or leaving jarring tell-tale signs in the text, I think it is suicidal that universities are teaching any sort of "proper use".
I hate to use the old example but I do not want a doctor who was too lazy to read and edit.

I just saw someone fail to load a newly bought Christmas tree into their Cybertruck in front of their child.
They were serving their country.
They shouldn't have been in Washington but they were doing their job.

Letting your child die of a preventable illness should be crime punishable by life imprisonment.
We transported a kid with croup to the hospital a month or so ago and if you've never heard a child struggling to breathe then I guarantee you getting them vaccinated is a whole lot better than watching them die.
Unbelievable.

Rogue One is (a) fantastic and (b) necessary. Star Wars works because despite an expanding universe, its core is 3 films made between 1977-1983, and you need to get an audience decades removed to keep coming back to Flash Gordon sci-fantasy. RO ties the PT and the OT beyond Vader's own narrative.

When I have to be somewhere in a professional or sacrosanct manner, I will be dressed as demanded. But I am getting on a plane in sweatpants.
If I am going to be stuck on an upcharge-powered flying bus for three hours, I am going to be somewhat comfortable.
