Recovering Twit in the Pacific Northwest.
This is how it happens. How it has always happened through history. And subsequent generations ask themselves, “Why didn’t they stand up to it while they still had the chance, why did they just watch it happen?”

January 6, 2021 was the most shameful day in American history. It should live in infamy. We will never forget it, and we will not let the nation or the world forget — despite the revisionism of Trump and his lackeys in the Republican Party.

Managing fire risk is about more than regulations and rules. It’s also about caring for neighbors and taking steps on your own property and in your community to help keep neighbors safe.

The hard truth is that December is always make-or-break for our newsroom. A full one-third of all the funds we need to practice the journalism you rely on comes to us in December.

Donate if you can. We'd greatly appreciate it 🫶 tinyurl.com/y6wzer7w

America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

If refusing to comment is enough to kill a story, then the government now has veto power over journalism.
That’s what CBS normalized last night — and it should scare everyone.
