ok so I have a few thoughts about my blue lions starting lineup
dimitri babygirl goalie for the reasons stated, felix center as all-out offense. ashe is his right and here's the tricky bit—it's either ingrid on the left to give them the fastest nastiest most insane sharpshooter first line possible, or it's sylvain to anchor them strategically and give them the bulk they're desperately missing. sylvain lacks speed to keep up but bridges that gap with incredible game sense and a mean turn on his skating. he's doing damage both physical and moral. ingrid as defense with dedue gives them much needed speed and an offensive edge from the blue line—she would lead the team in assists. but syldue defense would be soooo cuckoo bananas. dedue would win every battle along the boards, sylvain would read every play to filth. rebounds cleared easy and that double bulk as the last line of defense in the tailtean arena—you'd barely escape with your life out of the lions zone. you would never need to give dimitri a gun. of course this means lions have a very clear split along offense-defense and therein lies their weakness. too straightforward a team. can be played off the split too easily. but thank sothis you have dimitri doing his acrobatics shit in the crease

I love a Guy (gender neutral) who has such strong capacity both for creation and destruction. Dedue is a really interesting, complex character and I love that you have to dig deeper and read between the lines to see what's there.

My favorite Dedue quality is his secret teddy bear nature. 💗 he can seem intense and cold judging by the other routes, but getting to know him from AM and realizing he is gentle with plants, kind, awkward, and loves baking is just too sweet to overlook!
