A retired Minneapolis couple who had guns pointed at them by ICE in a church parking lot.

"They were obviously not trained at all. I've known many police officers in my life. These people were right off the streets."

"They had the professional demeanor of criminals."

Two things happened last weekend.

1. A group of pro-Trump billionaires took control of TikTok's U.S. operations.

2. TikTok appeared to begin suppressing content about ICE's activity in Minneapolis and criticism of Trump.

Correct. Effective protest isn't spontaneous. It's planned and organized.

But I get it - your point is broader: free speech is illegitimate unless it's supportive of Trump.

America does not want us to fund a lawless out of control ICE.

- No more roving patrols or profiling. ICE/CBP are not trained to do this. And it's wrong. Require warrants.
- No more secret police. Take off the masks. Show ID.
- And real accountability for murder and assault.

I see more and more countries want to build partnerships with Europe because we are predictable, which is nowadays becoming a value.

We take a long time to negotiate deals, but when we do, then we stick to them.

You have a strong trans-Atlantic tie with Canada. The US can never be trusted.
@kajakallas.bsky.social:

Let me be clear: we want strong trans-Atlantic ties. The U.S. will remain Europe’s partner and ally. But Europe need to adapt to the new realities. Europe is no longer Washington’s primary center of gravity.

Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka scrapped planned restrictions on Russian diplomats’ travel, Seznam Zprávy reported. Security services warned the move weakens protections against Russian espionage and sabotage. #Czechia

A president who combines hostility with intellectual emptiness isn’t just controversial...he’s structurally dangerous. It’s hard to tell which is more alarming: the policies or the lack of comprehension behind them.

America is completely out of control. A vile and inhumane government with a weak and largely complicit opposition party. It shocks me to see how little the American people are doing to stop this insanity. How can any of us ever trust this country again? Ever?

WTF France. I see that greed has permiated everywhere.
France has blocked an EU initiative to let Ukraine use a European loan to purchase British made Storm Shadow missiles, according to The Telegraph. Paris says the money should be spent within the EU, while several other member states support looser rules. #Ukraine
