WARHEAD: ALIEN AGENT is my 2025 book project! Grew up loving and reading spy stories and films, and hope you'll give this a look when the time comes next year. All the tropes are here, megalomaniacal villains, deadly femme fatales, exotic locations and cool gadgets. Check it out when it hits!
The eighth passenger on the commercial vessel NOSTROMO. Still one of my biggest inspirations.

One of my favorite pieces of early 1980’s concept art, a medusa-like manifestation by H. R. Giger for POLTERGEIST 2: THE OTHER SIDE. Giger had designed the title character in A L I E N (1979), but I think the picture missed the whole Spielbergian element from the first film more than anything else.

One of the great ghost designs ever. Not sure if this is Alex Toth or Iwao Takamoto, but Hanna-Barbera had some Ana ing designers in its early days.

I’ve seen these actual puppets in the Disney animation archives.

I am a sucker for creature shop maquettes, and here’s a cool one of the Demogorgon on Stranger Things. Note the reference photos and other goodies that inhabit a sculpt/paint station at a practical effects shop. Terrific work from the folks over at @spectralmotion

Another powerful woman standing up ✊

On November 20, 2025, in Hillsborough, Oregon, a lone woman confronted a squad of heavily armed ICE agents who had set up a roadblock and refused to retreat.

Some of the magnificent Marx dinosaur/prehistoric animal toys of my early childhood. Found a set on eBay a few years back that brought a big smile to my face.

The Cadaver’s Tale~ Some concept designs I did for the animated cadaver & props/keyframe from @realgdt.bsky.social incredible FRANKENSTEIN! Also collaborating with Mike Hill who sculpted and made the puppet (and puppeteered it to life) with the final screen performance digitally augmented by MRXFX!

Another one of my childhood bibles. Had to pick this one up instantly and thumb through, wherever I saw it.

So many memories of my 1977 thoughts and nostalgia in this single image. Difficult to explain, but STAR WARS was an overwhelming, life-altering experience for me. Art by the immortal John Berkey, if memory serves.

Had this sticker book when I was a kid who loved dinosaurs. Little has changed in the years since, lol.

I’ve never seen this one before. Don’t know how many times I’ve seen the film before I realized that was one of the retracted landing pads of the Nostromo. Note Brett at the bottom for scale.
