One of my favorite pieces of early 1980’s concept art, a medusa-like manifestation by H. R. Giger for POLTERGEIST 2: THE OTHER SIDE. Giger had designed the title character in A L I E N (1979), but I think the picture missed the whole Spielbergian element from the first film more than anything else.

One of the great ghost designs ever. Not sure if this is Alex Toth or Iwao Takamoto, but Hanna-Barbera had some Ana ing designers in its early days.
