Freshman Rep. Kerwin’s HB 1674 would’ve banned PFAS in Texas ag to protect public health and farmland but it failed— despite bringing 100s of her constituents to testify.

How did we get to the point where our government is purposely contaminating produce with chemicals used to subdue fires #txlege
The EPA is starting to allow the use of pesticides containing PFAS on food. The move is part of an effort to roll back the regulation of PFAS — also known as "forever chemicals" because they don't break down easily in the environment.

Amazon doesn't admit how many data centers they run. It's already over 900.
Amazon has twice as many data centres worldwide as previously reported
Amazon uses far more data centres across the globe—and has a bigger impact on the environment—than previously reported, leaked data reveals.

I really take my hat off to tiny groups doing this in very red areas. That takes guts.
The teeny tiny No Kings things in very red areas are so huge

Say like five or six people show up. None of them knew each other before. Suddenly they’re all friends. And maybe from that you get a group that does longer-term organizing that can punch *way* above its weight considering where it is

Hi, I'm the ProPublica reporter who's been tracking an unusual stat: U.S. citizens grabbed by immigration agents.

I did it because the government isn’t.

This is what I found.
