Here's my Nintendo Year in Review.
1) The Fortnite 1-2 crossover punch of Power Rangers and The Simpsons really got me lol
2) I played a LOT of Mario Kart World. Mainly single player! I really liked doing and collecting every single thing in that open world.

Today's delivery! The Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Figuarts boxes are *really* big, probably because they come with display stands. Gonna be annoying to store them haha

I wish the colours here were reversed: Purple/Green body, black accents.

Confirmed: western kids want toku! Someone just needs to step up and give it to them.
It’s super refreshing to see my son engage with tokusatsu in his own way. I don’t push any of it on him, but he always surprises me.

I think a lot about Power Rangers, as a franchise. More than maybe I should? I don't have a lot of reverence for the brand or anything, I just have genuine love for tokusatsu as a medium and a strong personal belief that there could totally be a market for it in "the west" if given an honest shot.

This era of Power Rangers was maybe Power Rangers at its most desperate IMO. Between the Macy's Parade stuff, this, and the Power Rangers Dubstep video (never forget) they were just trying so hard to make sure people knew Power Rangers still existed. I don't think it worked tbh.
