Federal prosecutors had a warrant to collect evidence from Good's vehicle, but Trump leaders said to drop it. About a dozen prosecutors have since departed.

We are deciding right now whether we want to be a country with ethnic cleansing and concentration camps.
The banality of evil is shocking. An ex-Big Lots warehouse for cheap consumer junk is bought by ICE to ship as many as 7,500 handcuffed human beings, as the Trump regime builds a U.S. gulag archipelago

I’m not sure we’ve properly addressed how profoundly disturbing it is that America can largely shrug at the stashing of human beings in giant warehouses.

It seems not ideal that the UK Government is currently collapsing into a pool of its own inadequacy whilst a close ally is genuinely at risk of having little green men cross the border into Alberta
i think the risk is not that they succeed (if all NDP voters + at least 30-40% of UCP voters vote against the referendum) but rather how the US responds, given that they've been backing these guys
15% of Albertans want separation. The rest would vote Democrat, just to give them the finger if this ever happens.

I'm about as hawkish as they come on Canada insulating itself against developments in the US. Ironically it's because of that I think Canada nuclearizing is a bad idea. It is one of the few ways to open the door to support in the US for an attack on Canada. www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/art...
