ICE left David, a 17-year-old boy, stranded on the side of Interstate 20 after pulling over his immigrant father, Hector, in Mississippi.

David began running in the scorching sun after the car and watched as it disappeared from sight—soon headed to a Louisiana ICE prison.

There's no overcomplication. It's a discussion about the word "pro-antifa" which is mostly nonsense.

I lack the full context of the "pro-antifa" usage so, I don't really know.

But then again, if it came from the right, odds are it's just plain deliberate stupidity trying hard to pass for erudite/educated verbiage, which, obviously isn't.

TLDR: Not clever usage in any way.

I concur. My wording wasn't the best. For my defence I had barely been up for 15 mins.😬

My point was that I think the author didn't mean it the way they wrote it. To me it's plain that you can't sit on the fence w/ that one. Or go with you have a "pro antifa" stance.

Deliberate obfuscation? Maybe.

I'm at the scene where ICE abducted multiple people from Lincoln and Foster this morning.

A WGN producer was among the people taken, allegedly because she was among a group of bystanders who tried to intervene. ICE agents hit this car while making their getaway.

Huh, no.

Pro antifa means, for all intents and purposes : For antifa; for anti faschism. It does not mean "for anti" faschism. I don't think it's a concept difficult to grasp.

Was there one too many hyphen? Yes, I'll concede that. I don't think it was intentional, though.

People are using the term "pro-antifa" to describe everything now. One Battle After Another? Pro-antifa. Zohran? Yep.

Pro-Anti, all in one word, one concept.

The very fabric of reality is collapsing, beyond what AI is doing to our senses, how we make meaning. Language itself is a civil war.

Having problems moving lasers in proper direction from a rotating disk... Math isn't always working with you. Working with vectors isn't always fun and giggles.
