I’ve been waiting to hear a step-by-step scenario for how sanctions, blowing up boats, or even assassinating Maduro leads to a democratic regime in Venezuela. It’s like the old South Park gnome bit. 1. Get rid of Maduro ➡️ 2. ??? ➡️ 3. Democracy!

What “concessions” did Democrats get for their cave? Not nothing. But by treating these things as “concessions,” Democrats are ultimately rewarding Trump for his bare-knuckle shutdown tactics.

Dems Reward the Hostage-Taker
Perhaps ending the shutdown was the responsible thing to do. But by caving, Democrats risk legitimizing Trump’s maximum-pain shutdown tactics.

Yep. Keep capitulating to this monster. Don't worry, he'll change for you. You can change him. He's only 80, a convicted felon, and an adjudicated rapist with 67 sex-crime allegations on him. Just keep rolling over. If you roll over enough maybe we can have the whole fucking world in flames by 2028.

I am proud that my legal team and I are leading the fight in this case against the Republican Party’s effort to throw out lawful ballots. Everyone needs to recognize this as the next step in the GOP plan to ban mail-in voting entirely and to eventually target early voting as well.

Chuck, with you ”fighting” we’ve seen the loss of abortion rights, immigrants (and citizens) being rounded up and locked in concentration camps, an unchallenged Presidential power grab, and the imminent loss of health for millions.
You suck, Chuck.

The PA Democratic Party needs to treat John Fetterman as an opponent no less than a Republican, and actively work against him when 2028 rolls around.
Expel the yes votes from the party and cut off all their access to fundraising, then remove Schumer from leadership. Anything less is mealy-mouthed coward bullshit.
As this vote moves to the House, I stand with Democratic leadership as they refuse to rubber stamp the full-scale Republican assault on Americans’ health care and I am proud of the majority of Senate Democrats who opposed this vote.
