AniMat (From The Lilo and Stitch Remake review): That's embarrassingly cringe.

I'm a firm believer in films getting a second life. It's why I don't hold the box office or use the initially critical analysis as verbatim to dictate how a film should be remembered. What matters is how the person feels about it and if they can cherish it. That makes it special.

In general, please don’t be positively toxic with the Mario franchise as a whole. It’s not fun and Mario is supposed to be fun.

Indeed. D+ is honestly one of the best streaming services out there especially for keeping content on. And I’m sick to death of the Disney hate even when they don’t deserve it. It’s so blind and petty:

Most of the time Disney’s blunders are from out of touch calls or, in the case of the Jimmy Kimmel thing, a knee jerk reaction caused by the trauma of being man-handled by the alt-right (DeSantis fucking with Reedy Creek back in 2022).

Doesn’t excuse them but it IS a reason.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I trust Andrew Stanton to cook with this. He made WALL•E and Finding Nemo, and wrote all the previous Toy Stories. He’s undoubtedly a Pixar legend. Looking forward to both this and Hoppers next year.

Hot take time: I don’t view Toy Story 3 as the conclusion of the series, I personally view it as the end of the toys’ journey with Andy and the start of a new one with Bonnie

#TheRunningMan features one highly entertaining set-piece after another, with Glen Powell showing how Ben thinks on his feet as the stakes get higher. Also appreciated the relevant theme on the effect of media manipulation. What a year for Stephen King adaptations.

I'm just sick of clickbait like this, especially with people who think they know what's best for a film studio or filmmaker if they have no experience working in it. Is Pixar perfect? No, but I still think they're making successful films that I and others have liked. It's just gross.

Guy literally makes a video pretentiously claiming that he knows how to “fix” Pixar, yet doesn’t bother making his own thumbnail, so he straight-up took one that I made and slapped his avatar on it. Tell me, who’s failing again?
Bro! There’s no way this guy stole Animat’s thumbnail and put it into his video!💀
