The thing about Hazbin to me is, there is plenty that can be criticized about it as a story & product. But the fact it's resonating with so many LGBTQ+ people and actively pushing change in the western animation landscape means more to me personally than any criticism could, even those I agree with.
Truthfully I can’t bring myself to be all that upset about internet series that are widely considered “bad” like RWBY and Hazbin Hotel because I’d rather have a handful of misguided passion projects made by independent writers and creators than an ocean of cookie cutter Hollywood Slop

Honestly, the only bad movies I've seen this year are that War of the Worlds remake with Ice Cube that was so bad I couldn't last more than 30 minutes into it, and the soulless Lilo & Stitch remake (which still made over $1B).

Honestly, this is the biggest problem with people saying companies like Glitch will take down companies such as Disney someday; Not everybody is going to be an edgy child, pre-teen or teen, or even adult; Tastes vary, and most indie animation nowadays is skewed towards mature audiences (so far).
A big problem I notice with indie animation is how there is really nothing for all audiences
Why does all indie animation have to be dark edgy stuff only adults can enjoy? Where’s all the wholesome stuff?
Why can’t there be more indie shows out there similar to Phineas and Ferb?

Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."
