This is a *remarkably* insightful idea that I hadn't considered.
"They don't really understand what they want" because they don't *want* to understand what they want.
They don't want to *create,* they want to *consume.*
Eg. One of the awful things about streaming is you control what you watch.

So I’m no pro, I draw mediocre pictures just for fun. But when I don’t know how to draw something, it’s because don’t know what it looks like. When they “don’t know how to express an idea” what they’re really saying is they don’t really understand what they want.
