Ordered new glasses today, hoping that some of the anxiety I've been experiencing is due to my shitty eyesight like, "of course you're anxious in public, you're seeing 10 people where there's 5 and your brain sees neutral expressions as angry". It's a hail mary, but I am going to still be hopeful.

After umpteen light-related issues (the biggest eventually traced back to needing to replace the surge protector, and took way too many "maybe it's this...?" resolution attempts), I have *finally* gotten the lights done on mum's tree. Excited to decorate it with her on the weekend 🥰

Forgot to close patio door last night. Dropped to 12.8°C in my apt, hadn't had heat on (3rd fl, don't usually need it). Woke to smoke detector chirping & Poppykins suffering Firebell Testing Flashbacks. Took a shower for rapid heat, shower loudly squealed, probably woke at least three apts. Whoops 😬
