Ethereal robes rustled before him, movement displacing the holy order’s incense hanging in the air. If it were anyone but his god, Ignis would have chided them for sitting upon the altar. But it was his god and he could do whatever he wished with his own offering. Noctis, god of the Night and Death, could do whatever he wished with him.

The smile in his god’s voice pours through him like magic. “Your offerings have always satisfied me.” A blue hand extends to him, an offering of his god’s own. “Rise.” Mobius’ hand slides easily into Loki’s. Though his god’s larger hand dwarfs his own, Loki is exceedingly gentle with him, merely providing support as Mobius pushes himself to his feet. A shiver goes through him though whether it’s from the chill or the anticipation, Mobius can’t say. He had been driven by some innate need to connect with his god again and being in his presence has Mobius’ senses buzzing. And not all of him is still deterred by the cold winter air.
