As far as stuff I've watched this year, these two have been favorites, Blazar especially. I'm liking Omega so far too. Meant to watch through Timeranger but keep getting distracted.

Sorry for any confusion but let’s make it clear, we are releasing GARO in the future and we are actually starting with Kiba, Taiga, Red Requiem, Wailing Dragon and Under the Moon.
Actually just starting to figure out the configuration, extras and the like so no clue yet.

A Velocity figure would have been neat, but Witchblade is definitely a bigger character. They probably would have gone with Ripclaw if they had included CyberForce though.

Yeah, definitely helped that B Fighter was contemporary with its adaptation, whereas Kamen Rider Black and Black RX were 87- 88. I think it also helped that they essentially looked like bug themed versions of Robocop who was big at the time (and himself inspired by earlier metal hero shows).

Conan the Destroyer (1984)

10/10 Sword & Sorcery film. Grace Jones, Wilt Chamberlain, & Mako all lent great supporting roles. Definitely more light hearted than the first, & the happiest you'll ever see Conan in any form. Awesome practical sets.

I wish the King Conan film actually happened. :C

I'm watching Curse of Frankenstein for the first time (I love Hammer horror but somehow always missed this one). I love Peter Cushing's take on Victor. From the moment he's on screen you understand that he's someone who, through immense privilege, can't comprehend his actions having consequences.

As I get into the sexual selection and sexual dimorphism part of my evolution module, a reminder:

In Northern Cardinals, the males are bright red. The females are a brown/gray, with orange beaks.

So if you see two bright red birds snuggling together on wrapping paper or a card: they're gay.
