I had a chat with my ex DJ partner who does production work about a week ago.

I liked the AI band because I listened to the whole disc and liked the consistency.

I now remember him saying that his trigger is the music is TOO consistent.

@djtodd242.bsky.social Listening to the latest show and I'm now wondering who Club Crimson Room is. They seem to have released 7 (??) albums this year, with extremely similar names. Songs on each album share similar names/lyrics. Their covers look like AI, as does their Bandcamp header.

The one "album" tells me nothing. But no-one releases that much material, and again, no discogs page.

I was hoping I was kidding when I said I'd have to vet every self released band.
