Incredible words.

This bracket chart says so fucking much about the current state of both tech and US culture. Shitbags all the way down who have bullied and cudgeled their way through life and now somehow think they’re the Most Special Bois and we should be so lucky as to bow to their whims.
🚨 THE BATTLE BEGINS 🚨

Your favorite year-end contest is back. It’s time to choose who will be this year’s Worst Person In Tech for 2025!

Each day of this week new matchups will drop until we choose the winner on Friday.

It's petty in the big scheme of things, but I will never not resent 21st century elites for making me apologize to Ted Turner for any reason. But turns out, Captain Planet was way more realistic than I thought possible with its villains.

He said "Amen" straight into the drop

I fully believe in the corporate death penalty and believe we would be a better world if OpenAI lost its corporate charter and was forcibly dissolved.

‘They fed us poison from bottles marked “prestige” and we developed a tolerance for bitterness.’

This line from The Ministry of Time so perfectly encapsulates how I feel about the last 20 years of the tech industry that it’s hard to believe it was written about something else.

“AI” isn’t a tool or technology or even a cluster of technologies with a misleading name. It’s the infrastructure at the foundation of a form of capitalism dependent on data brokering. We should be teaching our students about this and not teaching them about “responsible” use.

ALL of the “HEY CHUMP WANT 10% OFF” pop-ups are stupid but the worst are the ones that don’t appear until you interact with the page like the most annoying salesperson on the floor.

It’s hard for me to believe these things aren’t counterproductive to how the company is perceived by customers.

When all this shit was going down, an artist/skate punk in Dallas made t-shirts that said “FAWN HALL SHREDS”.
Breaking news: 40 years after they concealed Iran-Contra evidence together, Oliver North married his former secretary, Fawn Hall.

The quiet Virginia wedding marks a new chapter in one of the 1980s' biggest political scandals. https://wapo.st/46ceGTX
